FASHION MATHS #2

Shorts - eBay
Sandals - Primark
Crop Top - Primark
Sunglasses - River Island

Another quick holiday outfit, this ones very simple I would wear this in the day when walking around the town/city! The sandals are super comfy and easy to slip on and are a great dupe for Birkenstocks coming in at just £5. As for the shorts, these are my absolute favourite but I am unsure where they originally came from as I bought them from eBay 5 years ago for just 99p - Bargain! I love peachy lip colours  and this Bourjois lip crayon offers a buildable glossy colour perfect for summer.

Clarins Liquid Bronze Self Tanning - Review

What can I say, I absolutely love this stuff! Tanning your face is always a scary prospect - I mean your face? You can't exactly hide a facial tanning disaster but never fear, this product is perfection. I usually apply this at night with cotton pads and when I wake up in the morning my face is lightly bronzed, looking healthy and glowing. The only problem I have with it is application - like all tanning products it's hard to distinguish where you have tanned and where you haven't especially as this is a creamy white consistency. Definitely an investment, this bottle lasts a very long time and the results are worth your while.

Date Night Outfit

Leather Jacket - River Island
Dress - Topshop (old)
Boots - Primark
Bag - Primark
Bangle - Daniella Draper
Rings - Pandora
Naked 2 Eyeshadow Palette - Urban Decay
Lip Lacquer - Rimmel Apocalips

This is my standard date night outfit, this gorgeous floral red dress fits so well with just the right amount of V in the V neck. I'd usually wear this without tights and team with some heeled boots, which make it look less girly - but your legs look long. As for makeup I'd go for the Naked 2 eyeshadow palette to create a smokey eye look and a red lip. Now for jewellery, I can't leave the house without my rings, watch and bangle - my go-to jewellery! I just love simple silver jewellery and it really adds something to this outfit. Also, a leather jacket, a wardrobe staple that no outfit it complete without and in the North when night falls it is bitterly cold - especially by the seaside where I live!

New York City - Photo Diary

New York is my Boyfriend

In Easter 2014 I was lucky enough to go on the best geography fieldtrip to my favourite place in the whole world - New York City. My four best friends (orcas) and I packed up our bags and headed over the Atlantic for two weeks of shopping, eating, sight seeing and maybe some working. We visited all the major landmarks, experienced Chinatown and Brooklyn, chilled in New Jersey, played Gossip Girl and pretended to be Yale students for the day and here are our snaps, unleash the selfies..

FASHION MATHS #1

Sandals - Primark
Sunglasses - River Island
Crop Top - New Look (old)
Shorts - Primark
Watch - Marc Jacobs Henry Watch
Lipstick - MAC Patisserie

Officially, jetting off to the Greek Island of Rhodes 1 week today for a much needed break with my best friend! I love the monochrome trend and wanted some simple but chic night time outfits that I could mix and match, so I picked up these white shorts from Primark for £4! Although they are a little see-through it's nothing that good underwear choices can't sort out. Simple accessories and these Birkenstock dupes really make this outfit, which is perfect for those hot evenings by the beach or in cocktail bars.

Marc Jacobs Henry Watch

Say Hello to my new baby, my biggest ever purchase and my dream watch. I contemplated a watch for a long time, with the new Michael Kors hype I started to look into a new piece of arm candy. Originally I wanted a rose gold but due to my love of my Daniella Draper silver signature bangle I opted for silver, as for the brand I moved away from Michael Kors and onto Marc Jacobs where I found this beauty.  A simple white face, with MARC BY JACOBS as a substitute for numbers with 3 smaller dials in the centre. I didn't want something hugely in your face or emblazoned with diamante but the tiny crystals round the dial add something extra without being overly offensive. I bought this in Macy's in New York for $220 with 10% discount for being a Brit! Bargain of the century I think, converted coming in at around £100 cheaper than the UK - that makes this extravagant purchase acceptable, right?

.. And here's its debut with the Statue of Liberty!

Birkenstock Bandwagon

Behold the worlds comfiest man sandals, I have well and truly joined the Birkenstock bandwagon and I am a proud owner of some beautiful Arizonas. Inspired by the likes of Lily Pebbles and Barbara (@thepersianbabe) I took the plunge and parted with my £££ not to be disappointed - the easiest shoes to slip on in a rush which fit with every outfit!

I usually team these with my new ripped MOTO jeans or Leigh jeans by Topshop, a midi dress or a cute playsuit - but remember to paint your toes ladies sandal season is upon us!

Topshop, ASOS and Office all stock Birkenstocks in a variety of styles and word of the grapevine is that you might be able to find these little treasures in TK Maxx but a bit of a marmite choice - do you love or hate them?
