MY NEW BEDROOM

The grand reveal, here is my new bedroom! A complete change and a refreshing one at that. I used to have dark walls, dark everything making me depressed and negative but now I have light bright walls (white and duck egg) with a personal touch inspired by travel and all my favourite things - thanks for the inspo Pinterest. Sometimes you need a big change to make you feel more positive and happy - with my final year at Uni and an ongoing placement I need a space where I can relax and work and wake up everyday surrounded by everything that make me smile. Comment below if you would like to know where anything is, hope you love it as much as I do.

Strong Shoe Game - ASOS Fluent Sandals

A recent post exam shopping splurge coinciding with an ASOS 20% off event landed me with these beauties, initially I was going to send a pair back but both are beautiful and remain in my collection. I love how effortless these look, in the evenings or in the days. I wear these for work as they add something extra to my outfit and a pop of colour if its a boring black pair of trousers or a dress. These also look great when going out for cocktails/meals/drinks because of the simple style, the pop of colour and of course the gold heel! As for comfort, I find these super easy to walk in and they don't rub at all - perfect, bring out a turquoise pair please ASOS.

My Signature Scent - Stella by Stella McCartney

You're never fully dressed without a perfume and this is my fail safe option, my signature scent and one that makes me feel happy and 'me'. This is an extremely floral scent, strong but fresh, long lasting and in the cutest handbag appropriate bottle. This can be worn day and night, summer and winter and is raved about by many. I'm on my second bottle already and  this print edition one I bought last year for £20 from Boots, so it is often around to snap up for a bargain price - keep your eyes peeled it's a perfume that should be at the centre of every girls collection.

The Stationary Post

Tesco, you done good - both of the above are on offer right now for just £5 which I just could not resist! Maps and lists, possibly two of my most favourite things. I love Emma Bridgewater and had my eye on her 'Things to do' pads for a while and this one just caught my eye, it's quirky and will look super cute on my new desk in my newly decorated bedroom. As for the map notebook need I say more I'm a geographer ...

Rhodes Photo Diary

What symbolises the end of exams better than a relaxing holiday? An impulsive last minute idea decided on a dull evening pre-exam-weeks-of-hell landed my BFF Danielle and I in Rhodes on a 1 week Half Board holiday in Stamos Hotel Faliraki. We relaxed by the pool in the 30 degree heat all day , sampled some greek cuisine, fell in love with Gelato, explored the cobbled streets of Rhodes Old Town and topped up our tans (I got the best tan ever - for the first time EVER). Here are our pictures, check out the hair braids and my Danielle looking beaut in my dress - cheeky thief!

Mac Stereo Rose Review

This little limited edition beauty from the recent Fantasy of Flowers collection blesses my cheeks every single day without fail, a peachy pink blush with flecks of gold running through highlights my cheekbones and adds a pop of colour at the same time! This looks best with a tan as it seems to show up a lot more and make me look healthy and glowing.. however it is very buildable but there is a danger of over highlighted luminous cheeks - not the best look. A final point this dome like product seems to never end, i've been using it for months now and I haven't even made a dent so for the price you get plenty of product and excellent quality.

This is definitely a makeup bag staple and seems to fly off MAC counters across the UK when it shortly reappears leaving girls it fits of joy or disappointment - so if you ever see it grab it whilst you can!
